Learn how to make your own DIY organic facial care

Fruits are always great for your skin. Whether you make a dessert out of it or use it in your beauty recipe, fruits offer wonderful benefits to your skin and to your health. Here are some tips on making your own organic beauty routine treatments with natural items you may already have at home!

Organic Cleanse – Mix lime juice with raw milk and a pinch of salt. Soak a cotton ball in this lotion and deep-cleanse your skin by rubbing the cotton against your face in an upward circular motion. Do this for a couple of minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.

Exfoliate – Now for the scrub, depending on the season, you may choose to have seasonal fruit-based scrubs. I’m all for readily available items so lets try a honey and orange juice scrub. Squeeze the orange juice from half or one whole orange into a clean bowl, add 1 tablespoon of honey and 4 tablespoons of sugar and mix it all together until you have a smooth paste. Perfect to scrub your body or face for 2-3 minutes and rise with warm water. Finish by splashing your face with cold water to seal your pores.

Massage – Mash some banana, strawberry or some papaya. Mix it up with a spoon of milk and some organic honey. (If you have oily and acne-prone skin, you may skip the milk and use lemon juice instead.) Blend it to get a creamy mixture and use it to massage your face gently. Wipe it away.

Natural Toner – You can make a simple Mint toner by boiling a liter of water and add a handful of mint leaves. Wait for 10 minutes, strain the liquid, allow it to cool and store it in a refrigerator. Use it with a cotton pad to wipe your face.

Again this is all organic and you want to make sure it stays fresh which will give your skin natural benefits!
